Who is Jessica?
Jessica was my roommate and best friend while we attended University of Guelph from 2010-2016. She immigrated here from Czechia as a child, is now a Canadian Citizen and grew up in Kitchener/ Waterloo and went to high school at Bluevale Collegiate Institute.
Jessica is 34 years old as of 2025 and moved to Beijing, China to teach English after she was no longer able to maintain her catfishing romance with me as of 2017. As far as I know, she has not returned since.
Jessica deleted all social media presence after confessing what she had done to me. I have linked her workplace here in China in case anyone has any connections to this company.
Who I am
I want this story to be pinned to her name, and not mine, I do not believe this type of experience should define anyone’s life. If you know me, please out of respect for my situation keep my full name offline.
I have debated sharing my story publicly for quite some time. I share this with the world, because Jessica took several years from my life, and she enjoyed the years she tormented me, watching my pain in real time, and was able to get away with no real repercussions.
Jessica has also hurt other women in the same manner and since the legal system wont do anything to help us - I figured social justice was the only way forward.
I want to create an online community of support for anyone who has faced similar trauma- I’m here for you.
